We’re proud to share that Elation Brewing has been officially recognized by the Elizabeth River Project as a Sustained Distinguished Performance River Star Business. This honor is awarded to organizations that complete significant new environmental initiatives and demonstrate long-term commitment to restoring and protecting the Elizabeth River.
Each year, the River Restoration Advisory Committee, made up of River Star business peers and technical experts, reviews documentation from local organizations working to advance stewardship and sustainability. This fall, the committee unanimously selected Elation Brewing for Sustained Distinguished Performance at the Commitment Level, recognizing the meaningful steps we’ve taken to support the health of our river and community.
We look forward to celebrating this achievement at the Annual River Star Businesses Recognition Luncheon on January 29, 2026, at the Chesapeake Conference Center. Later this summer, we’re also excited to host an in-person River Star Happy Hour right here at Elation Brewing to raise a glass to all of the businesses contributing to a cleaner, healthier Elizabeth River.
About the Elizabeth River Project
The Elizabeth River Project (ERP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring the Elizabeth River through collaborative, community-centered action. ERP works with businesses, schools, neighborhoods, and individuals to reduce pollution, protect wildlife habitat, and create a more resilient watershed for future generations. Their River Star program recognizes organizations that go above and beyond in environmental stewardship.
